Where Regan Stands

Illinois is worth fighting for — and that’s exactly what I’m doing. As your State Representative, I’ve been standing up for the families of Central Illinois, pushing back against the political machine in Springfield, and working every day to restore common sense, protect our freedoms, and deliver real results.

You can find my stances on individual issues below. But, before you check them out, let me tell you the values and principles that are my foundation.

My husband and I instill in our kids the importance of faith, individual freedom, hard work, personal responsibility, and respect and compassion for those less fortunate. Those are the values I was raised with, have lived my life by, run my business by, and that will guide me as your Representative.

  • Springfield doesn’t have a revenue problem, it has a spending problem. I voted against tax hikes and called out billions in waste, political pork, and handouts to illegal immigrants. I support a spending cap and real structural reforms to rein in the bloated state bureaucracy and stop the corruption that has plagued Illinois for decades.

  • I strongly support the Second Amendment and will fight to protect our right to bear arms. I believe in the right to self-defense, and I personally sleep better at night knowing my kids are protected by my handgun.

  • I was adopted at birth into a loving family, and that fuels my unwavering commitment to protecting the unborn and supporting parents facing an unplanned pregnancy. I will always uphold the sanctity of life and advocate for the rights of the unborn.

  • I am committed to preserving our constitutional rights and defending individual liberties. When Governor Pritzker forced his unlawful mask mandate on our families, I fought back and joined a lawsuit against him. I will always stand up for our rights.

  • You deserve to raise your family in a safe community. I am committed to supporting our law enforcement officers and holding violent criminals accountable.

  • Central Illinois is home to some of the hardest-working people in the world. Unfortunately, Gov. Pritzker and Chicago Democrats are destroying our local economy and driving jobs out. No more. I will push for policies that build a vibrant economy, create jobs, and reward hard work.

  • As an educator, I have a front-row seat to the culture wars shaping our society and hurting our families. I will fight for our parental rights as we try and get back to the basics of educating our children and preparing them for the future. I will advocate for a quality education for every child regardless of zip code because, with an excellent education, a child can pursue their dreams and fulfill their potential.

  • The far-left is trying to force their agenda into every corner of our lives — from our schools to our laws. I’ve led efforts to:

    • Protect girls’ and women’s sports

    • Defend religious liberty and free speech

    • Block taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood

    I believe in teaching kids how to think — not what to think.ription
